Rules (meltdown & slamboree)

  Competition Rules :

 

High School Rules.

 

High school ages - 15 minute stop time halves. 3 times out per game

 

Middle School - 12 minute stop time halves - 3 times out per game.

 

Overtime is sudden death.

​

Running Clock if a 20 point lead in the second half if the Losing Coach agrees.

Pressing is allowed until there is a 15 pt lead, at which time, the leading team must pull back to half court.

 

All Games are Pre-scheduled, Show Case Format against like competition for the BEST games.

 

Maximum of 15 kids and 2 coaches per roster. Teams should have both a dark and light uniform. Problems that arise from both teams not having a different color will be accepted by the participating teams prior to playing.

 

* Teams are responsible for supplying their own basketballs, tape, and first aid supplies, and an Adult official score keeper(visiting team) or clock keeper (home team).

 

Athletes can only play on one team per age group per weekend and can only play a maximum of 5 games in a two day period (as per NCAA).

 

Please bring some sort of age identification for your athletes, at check-in.  Preferably a Current Grade Card.

 

* Teams must furnish one Quiet Responsible Adult scorekeeper for each game played.The Home Team should wear white and provide a book keeper (first team listed on schedule) and the Visiting Team (wears dark and is second team listed on the game schedule) needs to provide a clock keeper.  If unable, or would prefer not to provide, a $20.00 fee per game will be charged to the Head Coach at Check-in. If you know ahead of time, that you will not be bringing/providing a scorekeeper/clock keeper please notify us ahead of time so we may have someone available to provide the service!
